🔷 1. Approximate Account Current (AAC) क्या है?
👉 यह एक monthly statement (मासिक विवरण) है जिसमें:
✔ Railway की Receipts (आय)
✔ और Expenditure (खर्च)
को दिखाया जाता है
👉 यह दो तरह से बनता है:
- उस महीने का डेटा
- Financial Year की शुरुआत से उस महीने तक (cumulative)
👉 आसान भाषा में:
हर महीने Railway कितना कमा रही है और कितना खर्च कर रही है = AAC
🔷 2. यह किसे भेजा जाता है?
👉 AAC भेजा जाता है:
✔ Railway Board को
✔ Form: Appendix – XV
🔷 3. भेजने की Time Limit ⏰
✔ हर महीने की report → अगले महीने की 15 तारीख तक
👉 Special cases:
- December → 20 January तक
- March → 3 May तक
🔷 4. अगर समय पर भेज न सकें तो?
✔ पहले Air Mail से भेजा जाता है
✔ अगर फिर भी delay हो:
👉 जानकारी Telegram से भेजी जाती है
🔷 5. AAC के साथ कौन-कौन से Statements जाते हैं? 🔥

✔ पिछले साल के उसी period से तुलना
✔ और difference का reason
✅ (2) Receipts & Disbursement Statement

मान लो:
📅 अप्रैल महीने का AAC:

👉 पिछले साल अप्रैल में:
- Receipts = 450
- Expenditure = 380
✔ अब AAC में लिखा जाएगा:
👉 Increase का reason:
- Freight बढ़ा
- Passenger traffic बढ़ा
🔷 7. Consolidation Process (बहुत important 🔥)
👉 सभी Railways से AAC आता है
✔ फिर:
👉 Railway Board उन्हें मिलाकर
✔ एक Consolidated AAC बनाता है
👉 यह भेजा जाता है:
✔ Finance Ministry को
✔ Budget Branch को
👉 Purpose:
✔ Government को पता चले:
- कितना revenue आ रहा है
- कितना खर्च हो रहा है
- Budget सही चल रहा है या नहीं
🔷 8. Journal Entries (Conceptual)
👉 AAC सिर्फ statement है (report)
✔ direct accounting entry नहीं होती
लेकिन जो data इसमें आता है, वो entries से आता है:
✅ (1) Income entry
Cash/Bank A/c Dr.
To Railway Revenue A/c
✅ (2) Expense entry
Revenue Expenditure A/c Dr.
To Cash/Bank A/c
✔ इन सभी entries का summary = AAC
